Lisa Immordino Vreeland’s book and film, Love, Cecil, offer an evocative portrait of the talented whirlwind, Cecil Beaton, whose creative work as fashion and portrait photographer, diarist, and stage and costume designer captured many facets of the 20th century.
Lisa Immordino Vreeland is the author of Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel. Her popular and innovative documentaries on Vreeland, which the Hollywood Reporter called a “vivid, delicious trip,” and Peggy Guggenheim, Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict, have reached wide audiences. Previously a fashion entrepreneur, Immordino Vreeland was born in Milan, Italy, and lives in New York City.

Bodied is a social satire set in the world of competitive battle rap, directed by music video director Joseph Kahn and produced by Eminem. The film recently won the People’s Choice award in the Midnight Madness section of the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.
Joseph Kahn was born in Pusan, South Korea and moved to the United States at age 7. He grew up in Houston and attended Jersey Village High School. He began his directing career in his teens, shooting music videos for local musicians. This led to a celebrated twenty-five-year run that’s included hundreds of award-winning commercials and music videos with artists such as Taylor Swift, Eminem, U2, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, and many more. He made his feature film debut in 2004 with Tourque, starring Martin Henderson and Ice Cube, and followed it with Detention, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2011.
